The Head
Philippe Conticini is a French chef and pastry chef born on August 16, 1963, in Choisy-le-Roi, Val-de-Marne.
Renowned for both his sweet and savory creations, he is considered by his peers and the media as one of the major figures in contemporary French and international gastronomy.
Having worked in France, the United States, and Japan, he is credited with four innovations that have transformed the international culinary scene.
Notably, in 1994, he invented the verrine concept, which vertically and transparently reinterprets dishes traditionally served flat.
After receiving several awards and working in Michelin-starred establishments (La Table d'Anvers, Petrossian, etc.), he became the co-founder and pastry chef of Pâtisserie des Rêves. He places great importance on conveying emotions through his creations and on democratizing the art of taste.
A frequent media presence, he appeared in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017 on the show Le Meilleur Pâtissier and in 2018 on Le Meilleur Pâtissier Les Professionnels as a judge.
He now offers his creations under an entity that perfectly reflects his culinary personality: "Maison Philippe Conticini Paris".
He opened his first boutique in the 7th arrondissement of Paris in 2018 to share his emotions through taste.
A second boutique opened in November 2019 in the heart of the 16th arrondissement.
After the great success of his pop-up store at Galeries Lafayette Gourmet, Maison Philippe Conticini opened its counter in the prestigious shopping centre in November 2020. This will be followed by new boutiques, particularly in Boulogne Billancourt and the United Kingdom.
Birth, 37 Rue de Varenne, 7th arrondissement
The House
La Maison Philippe Conticini Paris, founded by Chef Philippe Conticini and his associate Yoav Peretz, is the Chef's first eponymous project. It aims to be frank, generous, full of emotions, and without creative boundaries. He already offers what are now great classics of modern pastry: his masterful Paris-Brest, the Pur Vanille, the Tarte Chocolat Praliné or the Tarte Citron Sarrasin.
The confirmation, 42 Rue de l'Annonciation, 16th arrondissement
Building on the success of the first boutique opened in 2018, located at 37 Rue de Varenne, the Maison quickly planned to open in a second Parisian district whose residents had made themselves heard: the 16th arrondissement.
In the heart of the pedestrian and popular Rue de l'Annonciation, the Chef and his associate are opening a second boutique, which, thanks to its adjoining laboratory, will now offer a viennoiserie range. The Chef thus creates a resolutely gourmet and generous range, values that have always paved Philippe Conticini's path.
The turning point, Galeries Lafayette Gourmet:The Maison quickly made a name for itself. Galeries Lafayette were not mistaken and offered the Chef to join the Gourmet with a temporary pop-up store. An immediate success, customers found themselves in the Chef's artistic line. This was followed by the permanent establishment of Maison Philippe Conticini, a few months later.
London calling!
Demand crossed the Channel, and in February 2020, Philippe Conticini set up shop in the heart of Camden Market, a resolutely creative neighborhood that suits him well. This was followed by Buckstreet, South Kensington, and Islington.
Taking Flight, the 3rd arrondissement:The resonance of his pastries, elevated by the man's sensitivity, took another leap forward. Through his social media, Philippe Conticini and his teams quickly understood that Eastern Paris would like to see the Chef closer. An opening at 31 Rue Notre-Dame de Nazareth took place in December 2020.
The Artist's Workshop, Place Dauphine, 1st arrondissement:In 2021, Philippe Conticini, alongside Jeffrey Cagnes, decided to open his artist's workshop at 27 Place Dauphine, in the heart of Paris, on the Île de la Cité. A true temple of pastry, a timeless setting paying homage to this art that the two men love so much, and which allows them to offer Masterclasses in an intimate setting. The "Du Geste à l'Émotion" Workshop, a nod to their joint creative range, was thus born.
